Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Planning Information
- HB770 of the 2006 Session – Mandates that certain health care facilities develop and implement emergency and disaster plans that address: (1) evacuation, transport, or shelter-in-place of residents; (2) notification to families, staff, and the Department regarding actions to safeguard the residents; (3) staff coverage, organization, and assignment of responsibilities; and (4) continuity of operations by the nursing home, including procurement of essential goods, equipment, and services, and relocation to alternative facilities.
