Here at the LifeSpan Network, we are dedicated to helping seniors from all types of financial backgrounds to find senior housing and care to fit their specific needs. Throughout the Maryland and Washington DC areas, there are a great number of exceptional senior housing options that offer reasonably priced apartments in a safe and comfortable environment.
How it Works
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 202 Program offers rental assistance for seniors who meet the requirements of the federal program. Rents are based on a resident's adjusted gross income which is calculated by subtracting approved medical expenses from their income. The resident then pays a certain percentage of the adjusted income for their rent and utilities. Seniors must also meet certain residency requirements to qualify for senior housing assistance
