RN Clinical Instructor Opportunity: Beacon Institute CNA Training Program
July 8, 2026
The Beacon Institute is seeking an RN to support our CNA training program on a part-time, as-needed basis in the Columbia area.
This opportunity is ideal for an RN who enjoys teaching, has experience in long-term care or working with older adults, and would like to stay connected to the field while helping prepare the next generation of CNAs.
Responsibilities include leading clinical rotations for specific CNA cohorts, typically for 1–2 weeks at a time, and teaching clinical skills 1-2 days per week for up to 6 hours per day. This is not a regular schedule, but rather an opportunity to support scheduled training cohorts throughout the year.
This role may be especially appealing to a retired or semi-retired nurse or an RN looking for occasional part-time work who enjoys mentoring students and teaching hands-on clinical skills.
Interested candidates should contact Lesley at The Beacon Institute (lflaim@lifespan-network.org) for more information.
