Full Time Environmental Services Director (ESD) at Charter Senior Living at Woodholme Crossing plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents. The department is responsible for housekeeping, building maintenance, grounds upkeep, equipment and mechanical systems, and ensuring community spaces remain welcoming and well-maintained. The ESD will work closely with other departments to support resident satisfaction, safety, and quality of life while helping create a positive, home-like atmosphere throughout the community. Environmental Services Director is responsible for leading all environmental services operations within the community, including building maintenance, housekeeping oversight, life safety compliance, emergency preparedness, grounds management, transportation services, vendor management, environmental compliance, and regulatory compliance.
This position serves as a hands on department leader responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, attractive, and well-functioning environment that supports resident satisfaction, operational excellence, occupancy readiness, and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership and oversight for Environmental Services Assistants, Housekeeping and Laundry. Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, life safety, and other facility infrastructure. Monitor building appearance and ensure common areas, exterior grounds, and community spaces are maintained in excellent condition. Coordinate maintenance projects and repairs with approved vendors and contractors. Maintain required department records, inspections, logs, and compliance documentation.
