Part-Time Delegating Registered Nurse (4–8 hours/week)
Two 8-Bed Memory Care Homes – Silver Spring & Bethesda, MD
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Delegating Registered Nurse (DRN) to provide clinical oversight and regulatory support for two small memory care assisted living homes. This role involves routine on-site visits, staff guidance, resident assessments, and compliance with Maryland state requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct weekly on-site visits to two assisted living memory care homes.
Assess residents for health and psychosocial needs and provide clinical guidance to staff.
Delegate nursing functions and provide instruction, follow-up recommendations, and preventative care guidance.
Assist in problem-solving related to resident health and behavioral concerns.
Complete 45-day resident reviews and state-mandated nursing assessments for:
New admissions
Changes in resident condition
Returns from hospitalization
Perform comprehensive resident health assessments every six (6) months.
Participate in Quality Assurance meetings every six (6) months.
Conduct employee competency evaluations and provide in-services as needed.
Fulfill all additional Delegating RN duties as required by state regulations.
Serve as a backup Delegating RN for two additional small homes in Montgomery County, as needed.
Hourly rate starting at $55/hour
