The Maryland Department of Health invites healthcare workers and environmental services (EVS) staff in healthcare settings to participate in Maryland Project Firstline, a FREE infection control training initiative from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
This program offers:
- 30-minute webinars delivered by Health Quality Innovators (HQI) once or twice a month. Topics vary and include new EVS content, recorded for later viewing by all your EVS staff.
- A resource website with ready-to-use CDC training materials for sessions ranging from 5 to 30 minutes. Many resources are also available in Spanish.
- An interactive Escape Room training experience facilitated by HQI in your facility. During this 45-minute session, teams work together to solve puzzles and crack codes while reviewing hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, and cleaning and disinfection practices.
Visit the MD Project Firstline website for details and to sign up for our monthly newsletter.
