Getting Involved in LifeSpan
Many opportunities exist for you to become more involved in the LifeSpan Network. As a LifeSpan Network member, you and interested members of your staff can participate on committees, task forces, and boards. Your input will be greatly valued and can help benefit LifeSpan in the future!
Committees
Committees usually meet on a quarterly basis and help set policy on the association’s organizational structure, public policy and services. Committees recommend actions to the Board. The following is a list of brief descriptions of the current committees that exist at the LifeSpan Network. Task Forces
Task Forces are formed and dissolved as needed. There are usually several task forces active throughout the year. Policies, recommendations, or action steps developed by task forces are recommended to the Board or to an appropriate committee for action.
