The year 2020 has brought with it unprecedented challenges, Hollywood-esque scenarios, and tales of heartbreak and heroism. Those who are serving our seniors are among those who are sacrificing their comfort and dedicating their time and energy to protecting those who are most vulnerable among us. LifeSpan recognizes these contributions and honors each worker for their contributions, big and small, lauded and unsung.
Meet the 2021 Heroes
We would like to honor those among us who have served our seniors at whatever cost with a LifeSpan Healthcare Hero award. Winners will 
be recognized at the LifeSpan Annual Conference in Ocean City, MD and will receive conference admission and overnight accomodations, culminating in an award presentation on Wednesday, September 30. We encourage you to nominate a co-worker, staff person, leader or community by completing the {Healthcare Hero nomination form} and submitting it prior to September 1, 2020.
Winners will be selected from the following categories:
- CNA/ GNA (2 winners)
- Leadership/community (1 winner)
The information required on the [submission form] is as follows:
- Your organization name
- Your name
- Your email
- Name of nominee
- Nominee organization/location
- Job title of nominee (if individual)
- Tell us why this staff member or organization is a healthcare hero (and tell us a few stories!)
- Upload photo and/or video of the individual or community. The video may be of the nominee in action, or of others describing why they are a healthcare hero!
